I'm thrilled with the school!  My daughter loves to come to school every day and doesn't want to leave!  She is in the Reef classroom, and just loves all the animals- Thumper the rabbit is her favorite!  Good Shepherd is really a great place for kids to be kids.

I can't say enough about how much Good Shepherd has meant to me over the past few years.  My child had some "special needs", and Ms. Florie and her staff worked with therapists who came to the school over the past few years to make sure my son was ready for Kindergarten. Without Good Shepherd, I am not sure he would have had such a strong foundation.  I am happy to say he is doing great in Kindergarten- thank you so much GSDS!

I visited at least seven schools before deciding to bring my daughter to Good Shepherd.  At first I wasn't sure, but within a week I knew I made the right choice.  The teachers are so friendly and professional.  I know when I pick up my daughter from school the kind of day she had and am told about any concerns.  It is an an amazing place with amazing teachers!

My family moved into town last summer and were lucky enough to enroll our two children into the school.  I really feel welcome at Good Shepherd, even though I didn't know much about Tampa.  I really didn't know anyone, but everyone there, from the teachers, to the director and many of the families, reached out to me and my family to make sure we kenw a lot about the area.   I got involved with some school events as a room parent, and helped out with the auction.  I made some great freiends and feel blessed to be part of the GS community!

I work for a local adult education institution and am so impressed with the high level of professionalism and quality education that is happening at Good Shepherd Day School.  Lots of places say they are using best practices, but Good Shepherd really walks the walk.  I have brought many groups of my adult students through over the past several years so they could see what early childhood education looks like at it's best.  Keep up the good work!!!

I want to thank you for making Good Shepherd such a wonderful place for kids (and parents!)  It's our seventh and final year and the changes you have implemented are simply beautiful.  The kids LOVE "going to school".  They are so well prepared for their K adventures- unaware that they have been learning all along.  Your program really does instill a love of learning and spark a curious mind.
